With the influx of all the " bits to stick on " we think that some suppliers are missing the point, making cards for the majority of people is a hobby - a hobby is a pastime something to do with your time when relaxing and have fun, simply sticking ready made bits onto cards soon looses its appeal.

What with all the bits you can now buy that stick on , it takes almost no time at all to make a card, which is rather sad and leaves a person probably rather bored and deflated, certainly the emphasis on creating something has been taken away.

So we say 'Make your own bits and bobs to stick on', it is so much fun and you will be amazed with what toppers and embellishments you can come up with when you try,
Use the Jolee type stickers as inspiration look around at all the bits you have and see what you come up with.

Here's some examples I made:

On the left, was made from plain white card overlaid with silver glitter card, I then placed an oblong of mirror board over that then attached a silver glitter card punched heart.

Centre, is simply lilac centura board overlaid with ivory centura, the stickers came from Hobbycraft.

Right, again plain white card overlaid with white glitter card, mirror board square on top, the heart is punched from white glitter card, I then wrapped beading wire around it.

Not only will you have more fun you'll probably save money and acquire some exclusive designs only available from yourself!
